The vessel is found to be in excellent condition. She starts without hesitation and runs clean and strong with little or no stack gas. She has been professionally maintained throughout her life. She has always been operated as a Bumboat or a vessel that pulls along side lake freighters to supply its crew with convenience store items like beer and toiletries. She is currently operated in this fashion as well as a sandbar party supply station. The only reason I am selling is because I have two young children and I am moving from the area. This boat has always been a money maker. She has a 100 gallon propane tank that runs a new Honda 5kw generator and a grill for burgers and dogs for recreational boaters. She has a well lit interior with plenty of shelving for retail items. She has a walk down engine room with plenty of space and a separate deck below the main shopping deck that runs the length of the vessel. There is a room in the forepeak that can be used as living quarters. In the stern there is a raised secion that can be used as an office. The pilot house is traditional with an attractive ships steering wheel and standard single shifter/throttle handle. She has a brand new VHF Marine Radio and 2 brand new Deep Cycle batteries. This vessel is a historical landmark. She enjoys celebrity status in the commercial maritime world of the Great Lakes and has been featured in numerous magazines. This vessel was appraised as such: Fair Market Value $130,000, Replacement Value $900,000, Historical Value $400,000. This vessel is very well constructed and can run in a foot of ice. She comes with partial inventory, 2 cash registers, 200 pound safe, commercial deep cooler, all proper fire fighting equipment, brand new Type I life preservers, two brand new throwable life rings, new paint, and a 50 lb anchor. |
