Nautical Academics will hold on site exams under Coast Guard approved training over a 3 weekend school to be held at the Holiday Inn of Duluth.

Nautical Academic's Captain's School is a recognized professional captains school approved by the United States Coast Guard to teach and examine for the U.S.C.G. license for both the basic 6 PAK Captains and Masters license(s).

The school teaches the required 56 hour course for the 6 PAK and administers the exams at the conclusion of the course with an extremely high passing rate. The 6 PAK permits the professional captain to carry 6 or less passengers for hire, however we also offer and examine for the Masters Upgrade for those interested in operating vessels for unlimited passengers such as cruise boats, head boats, and inspected vessels. The Masters Upgrade requires an additional weekend of training, and for those interested we offer the commercial assistance towing endorsement as well.

Nautical Academics provides all materials, manuals, charts, as well as the most recent C. G. applications. We pride our selves in guiding our students through the paper work and all necessities including the physical exam requirements, sea service time, drug testing, etc.
